1. Açaí:

A recipe made with green corn, the curau emerged from African cuisine. It is a pasty cream, formed by corn, milk, sugar and cinnamon. The recipe is most often consumed in the months of June and July, when festivals take place.

Like the recipe for a roll, the roll cake has layers of dough and filling, however the flavour of the Brazilian delicacy is made from guava.

6. Brigadeiro:

Probably one of the most popular on the list, the brigadeiro comes from the southeastern region of the country. It is a sphere made of condensed milk and chocolate powder, with granules. They are known for being one the sweet protagonists of children's parties.

7. Picanha:

One of the most popular cuts of Brazilian barbeque, picanha appeared in Brazil in the 1960s, when an Argentine who worked with meat realised that there were leftovers from the back area of the ox. Since then, it has been one of the great highlights of the country's barbeques. In addition, the Brazilian barbeque is also known for not having many spices in its cooking, using only coarse salt.
